It’s official…..

The Peavy family will be moving back to Georgia this weekend, after our last time of worship with our friends and family at Grace!  We are really excited.  The reason for our move is that I am taking the role of Worship Pastor at Gratis Church in Monroe.

Over the past few months God has been stirring in our hearts for a new direction in our ministry.  Because of the amazing opportunity that I’ve had at Grace Baptist in Knoxville, I’ve realized that God wanted me to step out in faith and trust Him as He leads us in the new direction of being a Lead Worship Pastor.  I cannot thank the people at Grace enough for helping me realize this new direction.

After many weeks of prayer, God heavily impressed on our hearts that we were to join the work alongside my Dad at Gratis Church.  It’s a huge leap of faith on our part, but we know that we are doing the right thing!

May 15 will be our first Sunday at Gratis.  Come and check it out if you are in the local area (click email below for more information).  Please keep us in your prayers as there are still plenty of questions about finances and other necessities, but we know that God is faithful!  God is moving all across the country right now.  See where He’s working and jump on board!
