Clint didn’t make it because of JC…

No I’m not talking about Jesus Christ.  I’m referring to when Clint and his team in Hollywood kicked 15 year old JC to the curb late in the game.  While Scotty apologized, Clint never did.  Clint sealed his persona as being a “jerk,” and I don’t think that America could ever look past that.  So why bring this up? 

As Christians, especially ministers we get sidetracked on the things instead of the people.  Ministry is the people!  Not music, sermons, counseling, books, videos, mission trips etc.  Are we making decisions that hurt people in order to benefit our ministries?  Or do we embrace the people that God has placed for this moment right now? 

Don’t make the mistake that Clint did, choose people over performance.  Who are the JC’s in your life?  Who are the people that you may be ignoring in order to get work done in “God’s Ministry”?  Instead, make the choice to be inclusive.  Afterall, the real JC (Jesus) wasn’t exclusive in His love for us.
