1. Be Angry….

Before you get all excited about me giving you a Biblical reason to be angry - keep reading….

AND do not sin!  Stop and think and be silent” - Ps. 4:4

Anger is something that we all struggle with.  The worst thing about anger is that it seems to always come in the worst times - when you were planning on being kind to someone, or especially right after you read your Bible.

David in the Old Testament got angry too, but he responds differently than most of us.  David’s recipe to avoid sinning in his moment of anger was to stop, think, and be silent.  This recipe creates a response rather than a reaction.  It’s really hard to think when your mind is clouded with anger.  So could we possibly think about during that time?  Simple answer found in verse 5 - “put your trust in the LORD.”  So it’s not about us finding that inner peace, but rather the peace that comes from trusting God!

If you have a trust problem with God, then this won’t work.  Don’t be like this below, instead stop and think about how good God is and how trustworthy He is and be quiet.
